"Adam and Eve"
These are supposedly the only remaining stones of Avebury's western stone avevnue, the "Beckhampton Avenue". In the same way a stone avenue reached out from the Sanctuary at East Kennett towards Avebury which still can be seen in parts, there was another stone avenue from Avebury in a western direction ending up in another Sanctuary in Knoll Down (Fox Covert), Even Stuckley hadn't seen that avenue anymore in the 17th century. This stone avenue matched the main street of nowadays Avebury. But in his sketches he indicated that there were Sarsens used as road surface. You can guess that the older parts of the village of Avebury are completely built out of stones from the Henges and Avenues.
There will be a meditation team at Adam and Eve.
